Hi, we are Olive and Tini, a bonded sister act looking for our forever home!  I’m Olive, the silver one and two years old and Tini is one year old and white.  Our new home won’t need a security system because we are highly trained in surveillance and have our own built-in alarms. We love to cuddle up on the sofa and watch movies, but we can also be your walking or even running buddies.  Our foster mom has two dogs that we love to play and snuggle with. One is bigger than us, but we still get along great. We love going for walks when our foster mom gets home from work and we have lots of energy to burn, so that is a good thing to do. We love food and are verry food motivated and smart so we should learn commands quickly. Although we are still learning the whole going outside to potty thing, we have gotten really good at letting folks know we need to go by getting up and going to the door We are just youngsters, so please be patient with us as we are still learning to navigate our world. If you have what it takes to be the proud parents of two divas, please complete the application and ask for us. We’ll be waiting.

I’m Elmo and I am just a young boy of four or five months. I was wandering along a highway in the hot sun when a nice lady found me and took me home with her. She noticed right away that I was wobbly walking and my head wouldn’t stay still. She called Homeward Bound and brought me to them. Mama Gail observed me for a few days to see how I was acting and on the third day I stopped eating and drinking. I couldn’t seem to remember how to do that any longer. I was taken to the vet and to be honest, I wasn’t sure I was coming back. I got a rather bleak prognosis but after staying at the pet clinic for a few days I finally remembered how to eat and drink, and Mama Gail took me “home.” Whew, that was a close call. I’m not out of the woods yet, but I am now playing with toys and eating everything in sight. Not sure how long I will feel good, but right now I am enjoying every minute of life!

My name is Von Moose, and I am eight years old. I came into rescue with my wife Chibi Moon and my three daughters. They are all being adopted, and I am the last of the fabulous five that hasn’t been adopted yet. I am a very sweet and gentle senior. I want to always be near my people and give them lots of love. Even though I am a bigger boy, I love to be in someone’s lap and will hug you.  I would do great with an older family, but I would also do great with youngsters as I am very gentle and lovable.  And believe it or not, I am very playful and love to play fetch and play with squeaky toys. I get along great with dogs of all sizes and have formed a friendship with my foster pitbull mix.  What are you waiting for? If you are looking for a gentle and loving soul who will be your new best friend, I just might fit the bill.

My name is Mia and I am six years old and spent most of my life making babies. I am now done with motherhood and looking for a new life with a family. My foster mom says I have a sweet personality despite my past, and my loving spirit always shines through. I am a small and petite girl, and my big brown eyes will melt your heart. I just want to please and if I am behaving in an undesirable way, you can easily redirect me to more appropriate behavior like not humping my fur foster sibling, haaaa.    I do scarf down my food very fast, so a slow feeding bowl is recommended as is feeding me away from others that are eating. What can I say, I’m a pug! I am a primo snuggler, and my foster mom says that my little snore is soft and precious. I must admit, I love to be the center of attention and give lots of kisses. I will be your shadow and although I am still working on inside manners, I am doing so much better.  I know I can make some lucky family, the perfect pug companion.

My name is Minnie and I am less than two years old. I came into rescue with my sister Faith, but she is being adopted and I’m still looking for my forever family. I’m what you call a Velcro pug because I want to be with my human at all times. If you expect me to potty outside, you need to go out with me so you can encourage me, and I know you are safe from predators. If you do that, I have very good house manners.  I get along great with all the pugs in my foster home, and I sure would like another furry companion. I really like my friend Chester, and he is looking for his forever family too! We would make a great pair! I am crate trained but I sure would like to sleep with my humans. My favorite pastime is snoozing away on the sofa with my foster mom and a furry friend. I use Chester as a pillow, haaa haaa. Although I am a bit shy at first, I will soon become your new best friend. And just look at how cute I am!

My name is Chester and I am nine years young.  I still love to play with plushies and balls and am always eager to chew on a Nylabone or something similar. But don’t try to take anything away from me or you might be missing a finger. As you can see, I really like treats but have not learned the art of taking them gently so putting them on the floor will save your fingers. I get along great with all the pugs in my foster home, but sometimes I bark in one of their faces, and they don’t much like that. Other than that, I am a perfect pug with great house manners. I always make my foster mom laugh with my silliness. I crate well but might fuss at first, especially if another furry friend isn’t close. I’m sure sleeping with my humans would be a great upgrade.   If you are looking for an older gent that will join you in naps, watching TV or just hanging with you on the sofa, I might be the perfect choice!

My name is Josie and I am between 8 and 10 years old. A very nice man found me wandering about close to a highway and rescued me before I got injured. I was really scared and all alone. He took me to a dogtor and had me scanned for a chip but no active chip. I had bad sores all over my back and my nails were long. The dogtor said it looked like I had been tossed from a vehicle and that's why my back looked so bad! I guess it is best that I don't remember what happened. He had a nice vet give me a heartworm test and unfortunately, I tested positive for nasty heartworms. After I finish my medicine, I will start heartworm treatment and be good as new.  I am so glad I am safe now but that was sure scary for a senior gal like me. I am looking for a forever home that will love me and not throw me away like garbage. I am a very good girl and crate and house trained. I love to be wherever my human is. Whether it is on the sofa, or working at your desk, I will be right there next to you. Although I get along great with other dogs, I won’t mind being the only queen in my castle. What are you waiting for? Complete the application and ask for me. Seniors are the best!

My name is Clover and Homeward Bound rescued me before I got hurt on the street.  I’m less than two years old and I love to play and snuggle when I am worn out.  I get along with all the fur kids at my foster home, but I don’t take any guff from anyone, if you know what I mean.  I am working on my house-training skills and am doing well if I am taken outside frequently. I like to run around the yard like the energizer bunny when outside and play catch me if you can.  I came into heat the first week here, but that has been taken care of. No puppies for me, as motherhood is not my jam. If you are looking for a petite girl that will be your new best friend, I might be the perfect choice for you!

My name is Rudy and I am three years old. I was living on the street with a lady and was given away. Homeward Bound was contacted, and I was picked up and taken to the vet.  I had a bad eye infection, and my eye had to be removed, so now I am a member of the one-eyed pug club. Although my sight is not very good in the other eye, I get around great and always can find my food bowl and jump up on the sofa by myself.  My foster mom says I am a very special boy. I love to cuddle, am crate trained and although I get along great with my foster fur siblings including the cat, I don't take any guff from them, even though I am smaller. I listen better than most pugs and my favorite place is snuggled on my human’s lap. I am a very smart boy and will make a perfect companion for some lucky family. What are you waiting for? Complete the application and ask for me.

My name is Bonnie, and I am nine years old. Our momma had something called dementia and could no longer take care of us. I came in with my best friend Mr. Wilson, and we hope we can stay together. I like to give lots oof kisses and snuggles and nap most of the day. I am crate trained but prefer to sleep in a bed close to my human. I still have lots of energy and will keep you entertained with my antics and happy smiles. As you can tell by my girlish figure, I am very fond of food and have been accused of stealing from my fur siblings. So now I eat alone. Busted! I get along great with dogs and cats. If you are looking for me and my friend Mr Wilson.

My name is Lucille, and I am a three-year-old Brindle French Bulldog. I found myself in a scary shelter after I had been hit by a car. I waited and waited for my family to come for me, but they never did. When Homeward Bound heard about me they sprung me from the shelter and took me to the dogtor. I was in a lot of pain and couldn’t even stand.  After x-rays we found out that I had a broken pelvis, and surgery couldn't fix it and it would have to heal on its own. After several days, I could stand and even walk some. Now I am doing good. My foster mom says I have a heart as big as my bat ears! I love to play, and snuggle with my humans, and zoom as best I can with my new pug friends. I am a joyful little girl who has good house manners, is crate trained and always ready for an adventure. Walks and car rides are two of my favorite things.  My perfect home would have a furry friend or two to play with. I like to be the only girl in the house, but boys are perfect unless they are a lot bigger than me because I don't get along with big dogs. Because of my injury, no young children please. If you are looking for a fun-loving companion who will fill your home with love and laughter, I may be the perfect girl for you.

My name is Nala, and I am eight years young. I came to rescue with my husband Simba and my daughter Kiara. Our daddy passed away and we were in the house with him for over a week before anyone knew. Our daddy’s sister came and took us away to a very scary shelter. She didn’t like us at all and was mad that she was stuck dealing with us. The shelter folks were nice and posted that we needed to get out of there. Homeward Bound found out and picked us all up. I miss my daddy, but my foster family is nice, and I like it here. I’ve even made new pug friends. I love to be by my human, and I sleep a lot. I wear girlie panties as I tend to mark but I am a very good girl. I hope someone is looking for a sweet senior like me so I can start my new life.

My name is Ozzie, and I am three years old. As you can see, I am now a member of the one-eyed pug club. I still think I am very handsome.  When I was a puppy, I got something called bloat so I must be careful and not drink water right after I eat.  Other than that, I am a pretty healthy guy.  I am calm, but love attention from my humans. I love toys and balls and although I get along with other dogs, I prefer the companionship of humans. Did I mention that I love attention?  I do get along better with female small dogs than males if there are other pets in my new home.  I am a good boy!!!

My name is Bella, and I am eight years old. My family took me to a very scary place called a shelter. I don’t why they did that, but another rescue called Homeward Bound to see if they would take me in and they said yes. Whew, that was a close call! I was in bad shape when I arrived at the rescue. I was skinny, very anemic, had a bad heart murmur and bad knees. My blood work is getting a lot better, and I take medicine for my heart. I get around okay for a gal with bad knees. I love to be with the other pugs in my foster home and follow Mama Gail around the house. I am a very easy keeper and am house trained and crate trained.  I hope another family has room in their heart for me and will never take me to a scary shelter and leave me again.

My name is Rocky and I’m around ten years old. My foster describes me as the sweetest old man ever and once I get the routine down, I remember. I love to tourthe back and put on my happy face while doing so. My favorite place is my foster dad’s lap where I frequently can be found snoozing the day away. I get along great with my foster fur siblings, but when it is time to eat I am first in line! I am crate trained and potty trained. However sometimes these old hips and legs don’t get me out the door on time but most of the time I make it out just fine. I don’t hear very good, but I respond to claps and sign language waves to come back inside. If you are looking for an easy keeper that will give you lots of love, please apply to be my forever home. I can’t wait to meet you.

My name is Elle Mae, and I am between six and eight years old. Age is just a number, and I can’t remember mine. I was wandering the streets of Norman, Oklahoma, and a very nice man rescued me from the street. He took me to the shelter but not before he contacted Homeward Bound. When no one came for me, Mama Gail had me picked up. My foster mom describes me as a sweetheart who absolutely loves her human. My favorite thing to do is play outside and chase squirrels. I get along great with my foster fur brothers and sisters but can get feisty around food. I really like nylabones and will chew on one all day. I am potty trained and very energetic. I am also an escape artist and perhaps that is why I wound up on the streets. One day I pulled a Houdini and got out of my crate! My foster family is still scratching their heads on that one. Haaa. If you are looking for a bundle of energy that will love you forever, I’m your girl!

My name is Herbie. I recently came in to rescue and turned 2 on November 14th. A nice family "rescued" me from a very bad situation. I wasn't treated nice at all and because of that, I have a few issues that I feel worth mentioning. It takes me a while to trust folks, so I may bark and bop you with my feet. I may even Grrrr at you or curl my lip in an Elvis impersonation cuz I am afraid at first. I sat in a corner for several hours when I first came to Homeward Bound. I just ask that folks wait till I calm down and come to you. I don't like to go on drives though as I'm worried about people putting their hand in the window and hurt my person. This nice family that took me in think I will be less overwhelmed with not so many pugs in the home. I have only been here a short time but last night, I gave mama Gail gentle kisses. I really wanted some treats haha. I am very food motivated and need to be put in my crate before breakfast and dinner. Don't get me wrong, I love to play when I'm relaxed. I would like a sibling or 2 especially if there are other pugs. If you have lots of patience and love to give and are willing to work with me on my quirky behavior please consider giving me a forever home.

My name is Ralphie, and I am around ten years old. I had a very rough time, before I was rescued by Homeward Bound. I came from a horrible place and was dumped on the side of the road. I was flea and tick infested, malnourished, anemic, and was starving. I’ve got a wonderful foster family who have worked very hard to get me healthy and looking good. I am a very sweet old man that loves everyone. I am a bit blind in one eye and sometimes I can get lost in the yard, but that doesn't stop me. I love to play outside with my foster fur friends. I also love chewing on bones and snuggling on the couch with my foster family. I am super soft and full of love and joy always. I am a very good boy, with a very happy tail. I also am kennel trained and house broken, and very handsome. If you are looking for a sweet senior with a heart of gold, then I am the one for you!

My name is Buster, and I am a six-year-old Puggle. I came to Homeward Bound when my Momma died, and my Daddy had to go into a home. No one in the family could take me, I guess. But here I am, and I like to be right where my human is all the time. I'm a big boy and can move a gate at times. I do take medications for seizures but haven't had any during the seven months have been in rescue. I am a happy guy and just want another family to call my own.

Please give me another chance at being a part of a family. I just want to be loved, and I promise to love you back!
