My name is Roxy, and I am six years old. I spent most of my life making babies, but no more kids for me. When I came to Homeward Bound, I was scared and very thin. But after I was here for a while, I realized that everyone here is so nice and I’m learning to respond to love and kindness. I get along with all my fur foster siblings, but I prefer to hang out and play with the boys. I love to be outside but need a human with me or I get nervous. I also like to sit on a lap or be close to you on the sofa. I haven’t
learned to play with toys yet, but I probably will in time. I can be kenneled, but don’t like it very much. I am working on my house manners so please be patient with me. I can't wait to meet my new family and start my new life.

I’m Mr. Wiggles and I am around four years old according to my Vet. I was found wandering by myself in a small town in Oklahoma in 100+ degree heat. It was very scary until someone caught me and brought me to Homeward Bound. I had some skin issues when I arrived and was very
skinny. I’ve put on weight now thanks to lots of yummy food and am looking quite handsome if I do say so myself. Guess how I got my name. Go ahead guess! Okay, okay, I’ll tell you. Whenever I got attention, I would wiggle, wiggle, wiggle my whole body. Mr. Wiggles seemed far more
distinguished than just plain old wiggles, and that’s how I got my name. I am a happy guy. I love to sit in my foster mom’s lap and being outside with the other dogs. And oh yes, sleeping in a human’s bed is awesome, especially if I can sleep right next to you. I love plush toys and will toss
them in the air to entertain myself and my foster moms. Due to my history of being on the run, I am still working on house manners, so please be patient with me, as I will get there. I did have a bladder stone, but it is gone now after being on a prescription diet for a while.
I feel great and am ready to meet my new family!!

My name is Ping, and I have a BIG heart and personality that my foster mom says are a perfect match for my plus size. I came to Homeward Bound because I really dislike long road trips and my family loved to travel. I am a bit shy at first, but I am very gentle and l love to play with my tiny foster fur sister and I always let her win! I have perfect house manners and love running and playing outside almost as much as I love cuddling. I get a little nervous when I am left alone, but who doesn’t? I would love to have a family to call my own and would be very happy to have a fur sibling to play with and keep me company when my family is not at home.

My name is Moses and I’m less than two years old. I came to the rescue after a nice lady freed me from a bad place. My mom came to rescue first, and I am so happy that I am now here too! I love attention and snuggling with my human and fur siblings. I’m pretty chill for a youngster and don’t get involved in squabbles. I love to play with my foster brothers and sisters, especially tug of war. I also like to chew on Nylabone's and toys. Oh yes, I like treats too! My tail is more of a question mark than curly. I believe it adds to my character! I’m still working on house manners, but I know I will get there. I was outside a lot, so being an inside puggy is new to me.
If you are looking for a very handsome boy,
I may be the one for you!

My name is Annie and I am two years old. I had a bad cough when I first came into the rescue. I had some x-rays and Doc found that my trachea was collapsing. It’s not a severe case, and I am so much better now. I only cough now and then. My foster mom says I am a very sweet girl, who is an expert snuggler! I am house broken, and love to dress up and go for rides. I get along with my foster siblings, but prefer the company of humans. I can’t wait to meet my new family and start a wonderful new life!

My name is Midnight, and I came into rescue with my sissy Cookie. I am only nine months old, but already have the black female pug attitude honed to perfection. I get along with most of the pugs in my foster home but tend to pick on the ones that are older. I feel that all toys in the home are mine as are all nylabones. What’s wrong with that! A princess must protect her stuff. I can be very cuddly and loving with my human and did I mention I love attention? I crate well when necessary and still working on house manners but doing pretty darn good. If you have been considering a black, diva princess, I may be the perfect choice. As an added bonus, I am very pretty, and I rock hats!!

My name is Remmy, and I am five years old. My Mamma had to give me and my son to Homeward Bound as she could no longer care for us. I lived outside a lot but love to spend most of my days inside. I get along great with my three foster
pug siblings and the cat. I kennel great and never cry when it is bedtime. I love to snuggle and follow my foster moms everywhere and oh yes, I love to be brushed. I had some bad skin issues when I arrived at the rescue, but after seeing the
dogtor, I am much better and get coconut oil/balm to promote healthy skin. I do wear a belly band in the house as I sometimes mark and am learning not to jump up when they are put on. I love toys and will even play fetch. I think I would do great in a variety of homes as I am good at adapting to new environments.
What can I say, I am pretty darn perfect!

It takes me a while to settle in, but I am doing great in my foster home. I know how to play fetch with a tennis ball and love any and all toys! I am also a big snuggler, and like to sleep right next to my human. I really would love a fur brother or sister that likes to play as much as I do. I like to be outside and love to go for walks too. I have good house manners and am crate trained if needed, although I prefer to be out. So, what are you waiting for? I can’t wait to meet my new family!!

My name is Rosebud, and I am eight years young. I made lots of babies before coming to Homeward Bound, but those days of raising kids are over. I am now enjoying the good life with my foster family and a pug foster brother and sister. I definitely need a home with some fur siblings to continue to gain confidence and never be lonely. I’m pretty laid back, but still unsure of new folks and new
surroundings. So please be patient with me as I haven’t had a human family before. It will take a while for me to trust you, but the rewards will be huge if you just give me a chance to find my inner pug. I completely trust my furry friends. I must say I love treats and being outside running and barking with the other pugs. I am learning to love toys and am a follower, not a leader. I have lots of love to give and need time to learn to give it freely. I promise to be a wonderful, loyal companion if given the chance. Check out my tongue!! How cool is that?

My name is Beans and I am 18 months (about 1 and a half years old.) I have some anxiety when left alone, but I have lots of foster fur brothers and sisters, so I am doing much better. I like to play with some toys and chew on nylabones. Mostly I love to be with my humans and cuddle on their lap. I crate well, but don’t much like to be in one. No matter what time you get up, I will hear you and want to get out of my crate if I am in one. I much prefer sleeping with my humans and lying very close to them. I am skinny right now but very much enjoying the extra food! I can’t wait to meet my new family and start my new life!

My name is Cookie, and I am less than a year old. I came in to rescue with my sister Midnight when our mom passed away. I am doing great in my foster home, but I am what is called an alpha female. I am a good girl and I love to play, but by my rules. What’s wrong with that! I don’t like to share my bones or toys, but hey they’re mine, right? I am a fierce and mighty grasshopper hunter and I love to
retrieve golf balls. Sometimes I like to hide under blankets and roll on your shoes so you can’t put them on. If you are looking for your shoes, they may be in my bed as I love to collect them, but I don’t chew them. I don’t mind being the only fur child and getting all the attention but would tolerate a laid-back fur sibling. Oh yeah, luxating Patellas, which are fancy words for wonky knees. They don’t
stop me from where I want to go, that’s for sure. I can move really fast, just like the other pugs. I hope my forever family finds me soon so I can start my new life.

My name is Herbie. I recently came in to rescue and turned 2 on November 14th. A nice family "rescued" me from a very bad situation. I wasn't treated nice at all and because of that, I have a few issues that I feel worth mentioning. It takes me a while to trust folks, so I may bark and bop you with my feet. I may even Grrrr at you or curl my lip in an Elvis impersonation cuz I am afraid at first. I sat in a corner for several hours when I first came to Homeward Bound. I just ask that folks wait till I calm down and come to you. I don't like to go on drives though as I'm worried about people putting their hand in the window and hurt my person. This nice family that took me in think I will be less overwhelmed with not so many pugs in the home. I have only been here a short time but last night, I gave mama Gail gentle kisses. I really wanted some treats haha. I am very food motivated and need to be put in my crate before breakfast and dinner. Don't get me wrong, I love to play when I'm relaxed. I would like a sibling or 2 especially if there are other pugs. If you have lots of patience and love to give and are willing to work with me on my quirky behavior please consider giving me a forever home.

My name is Precious, which suits me to a tee, If I do say so myself! I am 6 months old and I like to play, play, play with my new best friend's, Elsa and Frosty. I play hard and sound ferocious at times but trust me, I am just playing. I came to my Homeward Bound because I have bad knees and my mama couldn't pay for my much needed surgeries. I will soon be spayed and start knee surgeries after that. My perfect home would be with an active family with another young fur kid to wrestle and play with. I am not ready to be adopted yet but mama Gail said I could go to a long term Foster home for now with a family who can care for me as I recover from my knee surgeries. I am fast as lightning and I hop across the yard instead of running. I am crate trained and doing pretty good on my house training.

My name is Calypso and I came to Homeward Bound with my husband and 2 sons. Our mom could no longer care for us. I am a fluffy, beautiful 9 year old and a fun loving gal. I am smart, funny and love to follow my human Foster around. I am afraid of storms, so I need to feel very safe during them. I am pretty energetic for my age and I'm crate trained if needed. I must admit I like to eat and need to shed a few pounds to get my girlish figure back. I love kids and get along great with other dogs. I would like another furry friend to hang out with when no one is home. I am just a happy girl looking for her forever home. My name is Sara. I am not sure how old I am, but I guess you might call me

summer day in Oklahoma. I had tumbled down a little hill into a ditch and
couldn’t get out. Fortunately, a nice lady found me and called Homeward
Bound. Whew, that was scary as I wasn’t sure I was going to make it out of
there. But here I am looking for my forever home with a nice family to love.
I get along great with all the pugs in my foster home and if you enter me in
a longest tongue contest, I am sure to win! I am an easy keeper and love to
sleep the day away. I have an accident now and then, but hey, nobody's
perfect. If you are looking for a laid back, sweet gal, look no further.

The two things I like to do best is eat and sleep!! If you want a real chill, easy keeper who gets along great with humans and fur kids, I may be just the right one for you. Please consider giving me another furever home to spend the rest of my days in. I am a very good boy!!
