My name is Daisy and if you have been considering a sweet senior to love, I'm your girl. I was running loose for weeks before being rescued by Homeward Bound. My dogtor says I am at least 10 years old, but age is just a number, right? I've still got lots of love to give to some lucky family. I am blind in the one cloudy eye and had a very low grade mast cell tumor that was removed. I'm pretty laid back, and although I don't have to be in someone's lap all the time, I do enjoy lap time and being close to my humans. I get along great with my foster fur siblings big and small. I might fuss at first, but I will settle in a kennel when no one is home or at nighttime. I really love running around the yard with my furry friends and will find a quiet bed to nap on when I come inside. I am an easy keeper and can't wait to find my forever family. Could you be the one??

My name is Darwin, and I am a seven-year-old Bug which is a cross between a Pug and a Boston Terrier. As you can see, I am a very handsome brindle boy. I
was taken to the vet by my previous family to be put to sleep because I was not
nice to the new puppy. Are you kidding me? I wasn’t even tired. Ohhh maybe
that’s not what they meant. Luckily my vet called Homeward Bound, and they took me in and saved my life. I have a wonderful foster home and get along with my foster fur siblings most of the time. Sometimes I get over stimulated and act out so I think I would do best as the only fur kid and get all the attention and belly rubs. I am the sweetest boy ever to humans and my huge smile will melt the heart of anyone who sees it. I love to give hugs and snuggle with you on the couch. I am kennel trained even though I don’t like them very much and I am house trained. I just want someone to love me, and I will be your velcro companion. I don’t like being picked up or moved when I am comfy. but I will lay with you and snuggle as long as it's my idea. If you are looking for a best friend with a heart of gold then I’m your guy

My name is Bella, and I am eight years old. My family took me to a very scary
place called a shelter. I don’t why they did that, but another rescue called
Homeward Bound to see if they would take me in and they said yes. Whew, that
was a close call! I was in bad shape when I arrived at the rescue. I was skinny,
very anemic, had a bad heart murmur and bad knees. My blood work is getting a
lot better, and I take medicine for my heart. I get around okay for a gal with bad
knees. I love to be with the other pugs in my foster home and follow Mama Gail
around the house. I am a very easy keeper and am house trained and crate trained. I hope another family has room in their heart for me and will never take me to a scary shelter and leave me again.

My name is Rocky and I’m around ten years old. My foster describes me as the
sweetest old man ever and once I get the routine down, I remember. I love to tour
the back and put on my happy face while doing so. My favorite place is my foster
dad’s lap where I frequently can be found snoozing the day away. I get along great with my foster fur siblings, but when it is time to eat I am first in line! I am crate trained and potty trained. However sometimes these old hips and legs don’t get me out the door on time but most of the time I make it out just fine. I don’t hear very good, but I respond to claps and sign language waves to come back inside. If you are looking for an easy keeper that will give you lots of love, please apply to be my forever home. I can’t wait to meet you.

Hi everybody. My name is Hank, and I am a year old. I was living in a horrible
place until a nice lady drove over five hours to rescue me and two others for
Homeward Bound. I was made to stay outside in the hot Texas sun with no toys or human contact. I had no idea how to play or be a Pug. I’m safe now and learning that humans can be good to me. I’m calm for a youngster and do well with older kids, by those young ones, scare me. I am still shy, especially around men but I’m working on my confidence. I am also working on my house manners, but I think I'm doing pretty good. I need another furry companion to keep me company and play with me. But not a cat! I just don't like kitties. I really hope my forever home finds me soon so I can become part of a loving family.

My name is Elle Mae, and I am between six and eight years old. Age is just a number, and I can’t remember mine. I was wandering the streets of Norman, Oklahoma, and a very nice man rescued me from the street. He took me to the shelter but not before he contacted Homeward Bound. When no one came for me, Mama Gail had me picked up. My foster mom describes me as a sweetheart who absolutely loves her human. My favorite thing to do is play outside and chase squirrels. I get along great with my foster fur brothers and sisters but can get feisty around food. I really like nylabones and will chew on one all day. I am potty trained and very energetic. I am also an escape artist and perhaps that is why I wound up on the streets. One day I pulled a Houdini and got out of my crate! My foster family is still scratching their heads on that one. Haaa. If you are looking for a bundle of energy that will love you forever, I’m your girl!

My name is Rosebud, and I am eight years young. I made lots of babies before coming to Homeward Bound, but those days of raising kids are over. I am now enjoying the good life with my foster family and a pug foster brother and sister. I definitely need a home with some fur siblings to continue to gain confidence and never be lonely. I’m pretty laid back, but still unsure of new folks and new surroundings. So please be patient with me as I haven’t had a human family before. It will take a while for me to trust you, but the rewards will be huge if you just give me a chance to find my inner pug. I completely trust my furry friends. I must say I love treats and being outside running and barking with the other pugs. I am learning to love toys and am a follower, not a leader. I have lots of love to give and need time to learn to give it freely. I promise to be a wonderful, loyal companion if given the chance. Check out my tongue!! How cool is that?

My name is Herbie. I recently came in to rescue and turned 2 on November 14th. A nice family "rescued" me from a very bad situation. I wasn't treated nice at all and because of that, I have a few issues that I feel worth mentioning. It takes me a while to trust folks, so I may bark and bop you with my feet. I may even Grrrr at you or curl my lip in an Elvis impersonation cuz I am afraid at first. I sat in a corner for several hours when I first came to Homeward Bound. I just ask that folks wait till I calm down and come to you. I don't like to go on drives though as I'm worried about people putting their hand in the window and hurt my person. This nice family that took me in think I will be less overwhelmed with not so many pugs in the home. I have only been here a short time but last night, I gave mama Gail gentle kisses. I really wanted some treats haha. I am very food motivated and need to be put in my crate before breakfast and dinner. Don't get me wrong, I love to play when I'm relaxed. I would like a sibling or 2 especially if there are other pugs. If you have lots of patience and love to give and are willing to work with me on my quirky behavior please consider giving me a forever home.

My name is Ralphie, and I am around ten years old. I had a very rough time, before I was rescued by Homeward Bound. I came from a horrible place and was dumped on the side of the road. I was flea and tick infested, malnourished, anemic, and was starving. I’ve got a wonderful foster family who have worked very hard to get me healthy and looking good. I am a very sweet old man that loves everyone. I am a bit blind in one eye and sometimes I can get lost in the yard, but that doesn't stop me. I love to play outside with my foster fur friends. I also love chewing on bones and snuggling on the couch with my foster family. Iam super soft and full of love and joy always. I am a very good boy, with a very happy tail. I also am kennel trained and house broken, and very handsome. If you are looking for a sweet senior with a heart of gold, then I am the one for you!

My name is Buster, and I am a six-year-old Puggle.
I came to Homeward Bound when my Momma died, and my Daddy had to go into a home. No one in the family could take me, I guess. But here I am, and I like to be right where my human is all the time. I'm a big boy and can move a gate at times. I do take medications for seizures but haven't had any during the seven months have been in rescue.
I am a happy guy and just want another family to call my own.
Please give me another chance at being a part of a family.
I just want to be loved, and I promise to love you back!

My name is Sara. I am not sure how old I am, but I guess you might call me
a Senior Citizen. Age is just a number, right? I was found on a very hot
summer day in Oklahoma. I had tumbled down a little hill into a ditch and
couldn’t get out. Fortunately, a nice lady found me and called Homeward
Bound. Whew, that was scary as I wasn’t sure I was going to make it out of
there. But here I am looking for my forever home with a nice family to love.
I get along great with all the pugs in my foster home and if you enter me in
a longest tongue contest, I am sure to win! I am an easy keeper and love to
sleep the day away. I have an accident now and then, but hey, nobody's
perfect. If you are looking for a laid back, sweet gal, look no further.
I would love to be your new best friend.
