My name is Sassy, and I am 18 months old and a Frug (Frenchie/Pug). I have a heart full of love and a playful spirit that lights up every room. I sure live up to my name as I am sweet, fun and chocked full of personality. I love to snuggle in bed, zoom around the yard and play with my pug friends. If there is a toy nearby, I will find it, and it will immediately become my favorite. I have great house manners and although I am not a big fan of crates, I’m making progress every day.  I am a happy girl and will be the perfect companion for anyone looking for a cheerful cuddle bug with a touch of playful mischief.

My name is Louie, and my mom describes me as a quirky, lovable pug with a big personality and an even bigger love for being close to my person – ideally in your lap or with my chin resting on you. Yup, that’s me all right. I’m pretty darn smart too and am crate and potty trained and know lots of commands. I do great in public settings, and I do very well on a consistent routine with clear structure and companionship. I prefer the company of ladies, and I am still very wary of men, so I’m looking for a home where ladies rule! I get along great with cats and will do well with a female furry friend but would also be content as your one-and-only fur kid. I have a rather dominant personality and will do well in a home that can offer leadership, stability and understands the needs of a confident (ok sometimes bossy) puggy and can offer me consistency, affection and boundaries. I will mark at times, but it’s just me saying, “Hey, remember me? "If you are looking for a loyal, affectionate sidekick with a heart full of love I might be your perfect match!!

My name is Ben, and I came to Homeward Bound with my brother Koda. I am five years old, and I love to play, run around the house and yard and act silly. Speaking of yard, I love to be outside and run and run cuz I have lots of puggy energy. I get excited if I spot a squirrel. I am getting along great with my foster fur siblings and love the little humans in my foster home. I really need a furry companion or two as I don’t like to be left all by myself. My house manners are good most of the time, but I do wear a belly band just in case I forget. Oh yeah I have to eat by myself as I will argue over food. What can I say, I’m a pug! I am looking for a new forever home that is ready to adopt a fun loving, cuddly, super handsome guy.

My name is Bonnie, and I am nine years old. Our momma had something called dementia and could no longer take care of us. I came in with my best friend Mr. Wilson, and we hope we can stay together. I like to give lots oof kisses and snuggles and nap most of the day. I am crate trained but prefer to sleep in a bed close to my human. I still have lots of energy and will keep you entertained with my antics and happy smiles. As you can tell by my girlish figure, I am very fond of food and have been accused of stealing from my fur siblings. So now I eat alone. Busted! I get along great with dogs and cats. If you are looking for me and my friend Mr Wilson.

My name is Lucille, and I am a three-year-old Brindle French Bulldog. I found myself in a scary shelter after I had been hit by a car. I waited and waited for my family to come for me, but they never did. When Homeward Bound heard about me they sprung me from the shelter and took me to the dogtor. I was in a lot of pain and couldn’t even stand.  After x-rays we found out that I had a broken pelvis, and surgery couldn't fix it and it would have to heal on its own. After several days, I could stand and even walk some. Now I am doing good. My foster mom says I have a heart as big as my bat ears! I love to play, and snuggle with my humans, and zoom as best I can with my new pug friends. I am a joyful little girl who has good house manners, is crate trained and always ready for an adventure. Walks and car rides are two of my favorite things.  My perfect home would have a furry friend or two to play with. Because of my injury, no young children please. If you are looking for a fun-loving companion who will fill your home with love and laughter, I may be the perfect girl for you.

My name is Nala, and I am eight years young. I came to rescue with my husband Simba and my daughter Kiara. Our daddy passed away and we were in the house with him for over a week before anyone knew. Our daddy’s sister came and took us away to a very scary shelter. She didn’t like us at all and was mad that she was stuck dealing with us. The shelter folks were nice and posted that we needed to get out of there. Homeward Bound found out and picked us all up. I miss my daddy, but my foster family is nice, and I like it here. I’ve even made new pug friends. I love to be by my human, and I sleep a lot. I wear girlie panties as I tend to mark but I am a very good girl. I hope someone is looking for a sweet senior like me so I can start my new life.

My name is Kimmie and I am a beautiful three-year-old princess. I came from another rescue that had placed me in a home with other dogs. I wasn’t getting along great with them so maybe I need to be the only princess in my castle.  I am waiting for my new family to find me and give me a lifetime of love. It won’t be hard to do because I am a sweet and very smart girl.  I am house and crate trained, love going for walks and playing with my toys. Don’t wait too long or you will miss out on adding me to your family.

My name is Bugsy, and I am around eight years old. I was found wandering in the country and it was so hot that I had to stop. A nice lady found me on her lawn and took me inside. When all efforts to find my family failed, Homeward Bound was notified and picked me up. I guess my family didn't want me anymore. I don’t know why, because I am a very good boy. I might look sad, but that just the way I look. I love to be around humans, and I get along with all my fur foster siblings unless they are mean to me. I do have a cough that comes and goes, and no one is sure why. It is much better now though after taking some meds. I will go in a crate, but don’t like to be there unless I am eating or sleeping. I sure hope a nice family picks me for my forever home. I have lots of love to give!!

My name is Ozzie, and I am three years old. As you can see, I am now a member of the one-eyed pug club. I still think I am very handsome.  When I was a puppy, I got something called bloat so I must be careful and not drink water right after I eat.  Other than that, I am a pretty healthy guy.  I am calm, but love attention from my humans. I love toys and balls and although I get along with other dogs, I prefer the companionship of humans. Did I mention that I love attention?  I do get along better with female small dogs than males if there are other pets in my new home.  I am a good boy!!!

My name is Rascal and I’m a very handsome and smart pug mix. I’m only a year old and found myself in a very scary shelter. I was adopted to a nice family once, but my family took me back to the shelter because I was nipping. Okay folks, ummm I’m still a puppy and that’s what puppies do. We like to chew and nibble on fingers. I’m learning good and acceptable puppy behavior, and my foster mom says I am doing much better. I’m learning to play with toys and I love to play with my foster fur sister and run and do zoomies. I get along great with my other foster fur siblings, including the cat. I love to cuddle and will work for treats. I can’t wait to meet my family! Could it be yours?

My name is Darwin, and I am a seven-year-old Bug which is a cross between a Pug and a Boston Terrier. As you can see, I am a very handsome brindle boy. I
was taken to the vet by my previous family to be put to sleep because I was notnice to the new puppy. Are you kidding me? I wasn’t even tired. Ohhh maybethat’s not what they meant. Luckily my vet called Homeward Bound, and they took me in and saved my life. I have a wonderful foster home and get along with my foster fur siblings most of the time. Sometimes I get over stimulated and act out so I think I would do best as the only fur kid and get all the attention and belly rubs.  I am the sweetest boy ever to humans and my huge smile will melt the heart of anyone who sees it. I love to give hugs and snuggle with you on the couch. I am kennel trained even though I don’t like them very much and I am house trained. I just want someone to love me, and I will be your velcro companion. I don’t like being picked up or moved when I am comfy. but I will lay with you and snuggle as long as it's my idea. If you are looking for a best friend with a heart of gold then I’m your guy

My name is Bella, and I am eight years old. My family took me to a very scary

place called a shelter. I don’t why they did that, but another rescue called

Homeward Bound to see if they would take me in and they said yes. Whew, that was a close call! I was in bad shape when I arrived at the rescue. I was skinny, very anemic, had a bad heart murmur and bad knees. My blood work is getting a lot better, and I take medicine for my heart. I get around okay for a gal with bad knees. I love to be with the other pugs in my foster home and follow Mama Gail around the house. I am a very easy keeper and am house trained and crate trained.  I hope another family has room in their heart for me and will never take me to a scary shelter and leave me again.

My name is Rocky and I’m around ten years old. My foster describes me as thesweetest old man ever and once I get the routine down, I remember. I love to tourthe back and put on my happy face while doing so. My favorite place is my fosterdad’s lap where I frequently can be found snoozing the day away. I get along great with my foster fur siblings, but when it is time to eat I am first in line! I am crate trained and potty trained. However sometimes these old hips and legs don’t get me out the door on time but most of the time I make it out just fine. I don’t hear very good, but I respond to claps and sign language waves to come back inside. If you are looking for an easy keeper that will give you lots of love, please apply to be my forever home. I can’t wait to meet you.

My name is Poe, and I am a year-old French Bulldog. I came in with my sister Buffy. Our family moved away and just left us, and we didn’t know what to do. We found someone that took us in as they were worried that we would get hit by a car or stolen by bad people.  Homeward Bound was called and said we can come to their rescue. I am a good boy and a typical Frenchie that loves people and attention. More information about us will be added as soon as we settle in more at our foster home.

My name is Elle Mae, and I am between six and eight years old. Age is just a number, and I can’t remember mine. I was wandering the streets of Norman, Oklahoma, and a very nice man rescued me from the street. He took me to the shelter but not before he contacted Homeward Bound. When no one came for me, Mama Gail had me picked up. My foster mom describes me as a sweetheart who absolutely loves her human. My favorite thing to do is play outside and chase squirrels. I get along great with my foster fur brothers and sisters but can get feisty around food. I really like nylabones and will chew on one all day. I am potty trained and very energetic. I am also an escape artist and perhaps that is why I wound up on the streets. One day I pulled a Houdini and got out of my crate! My foster family is still scratching their heads on that one. Haaa. If you are looking for a bundle of energy that will love you forever, I’m your girl!

My name is Buffy, and I am a year-old French Bulldog. I came into rescue with my brother Poe, and we might be a bonded pair. Sometimes I lose my temper with him as he is pretty bossy with me, so we will see. Our family abandoned us and left us outside by ourselves. We found a nice person, and they contacted Homeward Bound. Now I am in a foster home with my brother getting lots of love and attention. My foster mom says I am very sweet and I love people so much. I do prefer the ladies and like to lay in my foster mom’s lap, but guys are okay, I guess. I also love kids and playing with my foster’s dog. He is lots of fun. Sometimes I get over stimulated and lose my temper a bit, but I am still a very good girl.

My name is Herbie. I recently came in to rescue and turned 2 on November 14th. A nice family "rescued" me from a very bad situation. I wasn't treated nice at all and because of that, I have a few issues that I feel worth mentioning. It takes me a while to trust folks, so I may bark and bop you with my feet. I may even Grrrr at you or curl my lip in an Elvis impersonation cuz I am afraid at first. I sat in a corner for several hours when I first came to Homeward Bound. I just ask that folks wait till I calm down and come to you. I don't like to go on drives though as I'm worried about people putting their hand in the window and hurt my person. This nice family that took me in think I will be less overwhelmed with not so many pugs in the home. I have only been here a short time but last night, I gave mama Gail gentle kisses. I really wanted some treats haha. I am very food motivated and need to be put in my crate before breakfast and dinner. Don't get me wrong, I love to play when I'm relaxed. I would like a sibling or 2 especially if there are other pugs. If you have lots of patience and love to give and are willing to work with me on my quirky behavior please consider giving me a forever home.

My name is Ralphie, and I am around ten years old. I had a very rough time, before I was rescued by Homeward Bound. I came from a horrible place and was dumped on the side of the road. I was flea and tick infested, malnourished, anemic, and was starving. I’ve got a wonderful foster family who have worked very hard to get me healthy and looking good. I am a very sweet old man that loves everyone. I am a bit blind in one eye and sometimes I can get lost in the yard, but that doesn't stop me. I love to play outside with my foster fur friends. I also love chewing on bones and snuggling on the couch with my foster family. Iam super soft and full of love and joy always. I am a very good boy, with a very happy tail. I also am kennel trained and house broken, and very handsome. If you are looking for a sweet senior with a heart of gold, then I am the one for you!

My name is Buster, and I am a six-year-old Puggle.

I came to Homeward Bound when my Momma died, and my Daddy had to go into a home. No one in the family could take me, I guess. But here I am, and I like to be right where my human is all the time. I'm a big boy and can move a gate at times. I do take medications for seizures but haven't had any during the seven months have been in rescue.

I am a happy guy and just want another family to call my own.

Please give me another chance at being a part of a family.

I just want to be loved, and I promise to love you back!
