My name is Alphie, and I was being cared for by a nice lady who contacted Homeward Bound. Of course, they picked me up right away and took me to their vet for evaluation. I was limping on one of my front legs and after x-rays, it was determined that I had an old injury that never healed properly. I take meds for that now and am feeling much better. I am a very good boy, although I do wear a belly band for the occasional marking. I love to play, chew on Nylabones and eat. In fact, I love food so much that I found a bag of treats I could reach and pulled it down and ate the entire contents. I love to sleep with my human young brother and cuddle with humans. I do have a bit of separation anxiety so another furry friend would be great.  I am an escape artist and although I need to be crated when no one is home, I have figured out how to get out.  Needless to say, a new crate is on the way! I have so much love to give a forever family if they are ready for an energetic guy who loves to play and cuddle.

     My name is Darth Vader, and I am less than two years old. I was in a shelter, alone and afraid. The nice man at the shelter called my family every day I was there but they never answered or came looking or me.  I am now with a foster family getting lots of love and attention and I have two foster pug brothers that I love. I am not a normal hyper youngster. I am pretty laid back and love to snuggle with my foster mom and my two foster brothers.  I like to play some but mostly like to hang out with my humans. My foster mom teaches music, and I love meeting her students and listening to all the sounds. I am a good boy and looking for a home that won’t let me get lost again and go to a shelter.

    My name is Jet, and I am between four and five years old. I was in a scary shelter and my family never came for me. Homeward Bound picked me up and took me right to their vet. Unfortunately, I tested positive for nasty heartworms. I was treated and now am recuperating with my foster mom and my foster pug brother. I am a very good boy and love to play, so keeping me quiet is a bit of a challenge.  I get along great with dogs and not sure about cats.  I love to cuddle and take naps when I am done playing.  My perfect forever home would have at least another fur companion and provide me with lots of toys and nylabones! Oh yeah and treats too. If you are looking for a new buddy with lots of energy and love to share, I may be the perfect pug for you.

   My name is Fantine, and I am between four and six years old. I came into rescue from a very bad place after having lots of babies. My ear was infected, and I had growths inside my ear that might need to be removed. Oh yes, I am a French Bulldog, not a pug as you can see. Since coming into rescue, I have learned to be a great cuddler. I like to watch tv in my foster mom’s lap so I need a home that will allow me to hang out on your sofa. Don’t get me wrong, I also love to play and act silly when the mood strikes me. I’m not a great fan of cats and I am deaf. Maybe if I get surgery on my ear, I can hear again. I hope my forever family finds me soon so I can start my new life!!

Our daddy passed away and we were in the house with him for over a week before anyone checked on us. Before I got to Homeward Bound, a family member dropped us off at a scary shelter. Thankfully Homeward Bound found out and came to pick up all of us up. I am a very sweet girl. I am a bit shy at first but will warm up to people and pets after a while. I/m great with cats, dogs and well-behaved kids. I mark things sometimes but have girlie panties to wear. I’m hoping some family will pick both Simba and me as we have been through a lot together
