My name is Rosalie, and I am 7 months old. My mom and dad and two others in my family were living in a horrible puppy mill in Texas. Homeward Bound found out about us and sent a very nice lady to pick my family up and get them safe from more baby making. My momma was pregnant with me and five others when she arrived at the rescue. She was also heartworm positive and that might be why only three of us survived. I had a cut on my forehead when I was born and it left a scar, so I always look mad. I was adopted with my sissy, Jane but we started playing too rough and fighting a little so I came back here. I do love to play and run around the yard with my foster fur siblings. I need an active home and a family with patience as I continue to work on my house training. I am also crate trained when needed. If you have been looking for a sweet youngster to love, I might be the gal for you!

My name is Caramel, and I am eight years old. I came to Homeward Bound with Bailey Rae from a horrible puppy mill. I made babies most of my life and never knew the comfort of being in a home or playing outside. Although still a bit skittish, I am outgoing and social. I like to follow my foster mom around and get along great with my foster fur siblings. I can be affectionate and help my foster mom out by making sure all the food bowls are always licked clean, so she doesn't have to wash them. Please consider giving a puppy mill girl a chance for a forever home. I promise to give you lots of love in return!

My name is Bailey Rae, and I am 8 years old. I lived in a puppy mill making babies most of my life. I’m still frightened and skittish but am learning that humans can be kind. I like it here and have a nice bed, toys and good food. I’m
working on trust, but I will need lots of patience to feel secure and loved. I am getting better on my house breaking skills. My foster mom says I am gentle,
cautious, curious, and have the softest fur ever. And just look at how cute I am! Please consider showing me what a forever home is all about. I would love to have a fur brother or sister to help me gain confidence and teach me how to be a pug. I know I have lots of love to give, but it may take some time to show it.

My name is Paddy, AKA Houdini, as I’m a bit of an escape artist. I was in a scary shelter, doing my best Pug impression, hoping Homeward Bound would see me. Guess what? It worked and a nice lady sprung me from the shelter and brought me to Mama Gail. Whew that was a close call. When I got here, all the pugs started sniffing my butt and following me around, and some even started chasing me. So, when no one was watching, I snuck out under the fence. A neighbor saw me strolling down the street and brought me back. Busted! I am trying to introduce myself properly and not be afraid. I have good house manners; am crate trained and love to play with toys. I wouldn’t mind a furry companion to keep me company when no one is home. No dog doors and small kiddos that might let me out by accident, but I think I would love to play with older kids. As you can see, I am very cute and its possible I have no pug in me. I can’t wait to meet my new family and start my new life!

My name is Callie, and I am five years old. My momma loved me a lot, but could no longer care for me, so she contacted Homeward Bound. When I first got here, I was very sad and confused so hid in my crate for two days, only leaving to go outside and potty. When I realized that no one was going to hurt me, I started coming out of my shell. I now get along great with my foster fur siblings and like to play with toys and run around outside. I love attention and will give gentle
kisses to my human friends. I have good house manners and am crate trained. Oh yeah, and I am small and very pretty. So, what are you waiting for? Fill out the application and apply for me. I promise to be your best friend forever!!

My name is Grim, and I am eight years old. My momma passed away and a nice lady from Homeward Bound picked me up and brought me here. I was
very sad for a few days and wasn't used to so many pug friends. I just had my momma and that was enough for me. After a few days, I tried to introduce myself by sniffing all the pugs’ butts. Obviously, that wasn’t a proper introduction procedure and now no one likes me. I am really a good boy and
love to bark at squirrels, and chew Nylabones and take naps. I have good house manners but wear a belly band for occasional hikes and I don’t mean in the woods. I do like to sun myself outside when the weather is nice and I am crate trained, although I would rather be out with my human. If you are looking
for a handsome, laid-back guy, please complete an application and mention me. I can’t wait to meet my new family!

My name is Fred, and I need to be adopted with my brother Barney. We were
found in the parking lot of an apartment complex, very close to a busy highway.
We are both between 8 and 10 years old. I am a bit busier than Barney but we both love attention, belly rubs, treats and chasing the squirrels in our foster mom’s yard. I love to play with squeaky toys and playing fetch. We are both kennel trained and I will go to the door when I want to be outside. We eat in our kennels as we both love food and might try to steal one of our foster fur siblings food. We get along great with other dogs and love our foster mom’s grandson. We like to always be close by our humans. If you are looking for a sweet pair of seniors to love, look no further!!

My name is Spooky, and I am six years old. I was adopted by a nice family but
had to come back to Homeward Bound. I kept eating everything that the toddler
dropped and had to have surgery to remove things from my tummy. I was just
trying to help clean! So, no youngsters that leave toys lying around for me. I am
very loyal to my family and just want to be where my humans are. I am pretty laid
back most of the time, but I do have some separation anxiety when my humans
aren’t around. For that reason, I really need a furry friend to keep me company
when no one is home. I need daily eye drops, but I don’t mind taking them. I am a
complete snuggle bug and enjoy a lazy day watching movies with my person. If
you are in the market for a sweet girl that just wants to be your best friend, please
consider giving me a forever home

Our names are Addie and Goldilocks, and we are eight years young. We came
from the same bad place, making babies. But no more of that for us! We are not
scared of humans, like many coming from a breeding environment. We are lots of
fun and get along great with the other fur kids in our foster home. Our foster mom
says we are like bookends and a very bonded pair. We get upset if one of us goes to the Dogtor and the other stays home and get so excited when we see each other again. We can’t wait to meet our forever family. If you are looking for a bonded pair that will keep you entertained, please apply for us.

That's when I came to Homeward Bound. I do have a heart condition and take daily meds for that as well as daily eye drops. I am also deaf. I can be a bit aloof until I get to know you and then I will follow you everywhere if I’m not napping and chilling out on a soft dog bed. I get along with all my foster fur siblings, including the cat. My name is Josie, and I am approximately eighteen months old according to my dogtor. I am a Chug which is a cross between a pug and a chihuahua. I was very pregnant and dumped in the country. A nice lady took me in, and I delivered nine puppies. All my babies have new homes and now I am hoping to find my forever home. No more babies for me! I’m very shy at first but give me treats and snuggles and I will warm right up to you and be your new best friend. I don’t much like being in a crate when my human is not home and have become a bit of an escape artist when in one. I prefer to snuggle with my person at night. I'm pretty calm and don't pay much attention to the other fur kids and toddler in my foster home, but if they try to play with me, I try to play back with them. I’m potty trained but feel more comfortable outside when someone is with me. I am so excited to meet my new family that will let me be their loyal companion.
