I am Troubadour the brave and strong! I came to Homeward Bound with four others, and my eye was so badly damaged that it had to be removed immediately. I had a rough start in life but now I am a happy, scruffy little guy living the pug life. I have lots of energy and love running around the backyard and helping my foster mom when she is gardening. My foster pug sister taught me how to pick my own zucchini! I like hanging out on my chair while basking in the sun. I am a puppy and need a home that can provide lots of play time, chew toys, treats and lots of supervision, so I don’t start chewing on something I shouldn’t. I’m crate trained and getting better every day on inside house manners. I’m teething, so don’t get mad if I give a few love bites. I really like chewing on toys and puppy chews. I love food, so training me is easy if you have enough treats, I’m full of love and waiting to meet my forever family. I promise to give lots of puppy kisses and will be the best snuggle buddy ever after I stop wanting to bite everything. Hope my forever family finds me soon as I can’t wait to meet them,

My name is Chet and I’m a Chug (chihuahua/pug). I am almost five months old and will soon be tutored (Maybe I misunderstood). My foster mom says I have a big personality and an even bigger heart! My name is Winston and I am seven years young. My foster mom says I am the best boy, and my house manners are impeccable. Not sure what that word means, but I think it means that I never potty in the house, which is true. I don’t need to be crated and have never had an accident in the house. I get along great with the other pugs in my foster home, and I never try to guard my food. I love to do tricks and can shake, lay down, sit and speak for a piece of cheese or a cheerio. I love the guys and I can sit on my foster dad’s lap for hours even though I am a big boy at 27 pounds. So, maybe I need to lose a few pounds. Did I mention that I love to eat? I am pretty much a couch potato during the day, waiting for my foster mom and dad to come home every night.

My name is Jellybean, and I am around seven or eight years old. I was found wandering in Kansas with yeasty skin and lots of fleas. A kind lady took me in. My owners were never located so Homeward Bound found a wonderful foster for me to stay with. I love to play with my toys and am a complete love bug. My name is Paddy, AKA Houdini, as I’m a bit of an escape artist. I was in a scary shelter, doing my best Pug impression, hoping Homeward Bound would see me. Guess what? It worked and a nice lady sprung me from the shelter and brought me to Mama Gail. Whew that was a close call. When I got here, all the pugs started sniffing my butt and following me around, and some even started chasing me. So, when no one was watching, I snuck out under the fence. A neighbor saw me strolling down the street and brought me back. Busted! I am trying to introduce myself properly and not be afraid. I have good house manners; am crate trained and love to play with toys. I wouldn’t mind a furry companion to keep me company when no one is home. No dog doors and small kiddos that might let me out by accident, but I think I would love to play with older kids. As you can see, I am very cute and it's possible I have no pug in me. I can’t wait to meet my new family and start my new life!
