My name is Winston and I am seven years young. My foster mom says I am the best boy, and my house manners are impeccable. Not sure what that word means, but I think it means that I never potty in the house, which is true. I don’t need to be crated and have never had an accident in the house. My name is Fiona and I am between two and three years old. I was in a shelter with my brother waiting to get rescued. The nice lady at the shelter called Homeward Bound and they immediately sprung us both. I tested positive for heartworms and after I finish my meds, I will be treated. I must admit, I am the cutest apricot pug around. I’m super sweet, curious, vocal, and snuggly. I love to play with my foster siblings. One is small and snorty like me and the other is a giant, but we all play great together. I sometimes have accidents in the house, and I’m not fond of the crate, but with some work and encouragement I know I’ll get there. I was used to running loose a lot with my brother, so never got much training. I really like to sing when my foster mom leaves my sight and I can’t get to her, so she can find me and take me with her. I love toys, but sometimes I can’t distinguish between toys, and something called a shoe, but I’m getting better. My favorite thing to do is snuggle on the sofa with my foster family and give everyone lots of kisses. I might need to lose a few pounds, maybe. My name is Paddy, AKA Houdini, as I’m a bit of an escape artist. I was in a scary shelter, doing my best Pug impression, hoping Homeward Bound would see me. Guess what? It worked and a nice lady sprung me from the shelter and brought me to Mama Gail. Whew that was a close call. When I got here, all the pugs started sniffing my butt and following me around, and some even started chasing me. So, when no one was watching, I snuck out under the fence. A neighbor saw me strolling down the street and brought me back. Busted! I am trying to introduce myself properly and not be afraid.
